Which Turbo For My '01 6 Speed?
Which one, so many options, so confused!!! Some people say to go with BD's Special B, some say Phat Shaft 62 and some say Phat Shaft 64. Which one is better. I still tow sometimes. I would like a straight bolt in unit if possible. What's a fella to do??

Back to the question at hand. Turbos should be matched to fueling.
For fuel, I see:
Comp
Smarty
80hp sticks
You are probably right at the 400hp point, maybe more for fuel.
At that power level, a 35/40 will work well with a 14CM housing, but there are better turbo options.
I'd suggest a SPS62, as it's supposedly good to 500hp. That will give you some headroom for nitrous and such later.
You *are* adding nitrous, right?

you will have to go from a 4" down pipe though, to you 3" if you wont to keep that, BUT I would go to a 4" all the way out. with that much fuel it will increase you egt's with the stock pipe ex. with the muffler JMO

I think I have lots of fuel due to the amount of black pouring out of the old pipes.. Sounds like a Phat Shaft 62 is the way to go... Has anyone played with the ball bearing Edge or ball beraing Garrett??

64 is overkill so 62 or try a bb. We were recently looking for volunteers to buy the garrett
Hey Doug- I see PDW is carrying the edge BB's- how are they working out?
Weren't there problems with the earlier edge bb's?
