which transfercase in my buds 96 ctd?
my buddy's girlfriend wrecked his 96..the frontend was crashed and his transfercase is cracked...need parts....

Need more information. If it is a 3500, it is a 241DHD. If it is a 2500, it can be either a 241DLD (most common) or a 241DHD. If there is no tag, look for a PTO cover, the DHD has a pto cover. Also look for a 2 piece output housing (or snout). The DHD is one piece, the DLD is two piece. If you need spare parts, I have some DLD spare parts.

his is an 94 auto 2500 LWB..
