Which Quad box or programmer?

Ok, Im gonna put a quadzilla on my truck, but dont know exactly which one. I wont be doing any other mods right now, maybe a TC and VB later. A Road Armour bumper is also down the line. But as far as performance just the quad. I do pull a trailer every once in while, 5-10,000 K is about it. just wont the little xtra power. Yeah I will buy the commander with it.

if you are going to get gauges, the commander, do not pass go, do not collect $200, go directly to the race module.

silly man, it is never too much. most modules are in cab adjustable. if it is too much for driving conditions, you can reduce the additional power or turn it back to stock on the fly.

I do want in cab adjustable, and reliability. What does the race really do? PSI. Timing or what?

I was wondering the same thing. Put the Commander on for sure, then either the XZT Tow module or the Standard (30-60-100). Also not into racing and I don't want to blow the thing up . Just want some extra power and the Commander gauges. How is the Standard in the 30 or 60 mode?

fuel pressure, boost fooling, timing, duration. the standard is stock, 30, 60 and 100hp. the race is stock, 30, 60, and 130+hp.

Pressure with a little timin and boost foolin. Even in the "off" position you will still get boost foolin wich is nice if you are too hot to pull a hill with a trailer and you gotta return it to stock to get your egts in check you still got a little extra umph compared to stock.

i like my race alot. i had a standard for over a year and upgraded because i got power hungry. I towed with it on 30, and now with the upgraded turbo, I tow on 60.

20k miles without injector problems. you can have quad do a custom for you, by removing pressure. then you wont have to worry, you'll have reduced power, but no worries.

maybe a smarty would be good for you. i borrowed one and fell in love immediately. my clutch was already dying so i expected it to be overwhelmed by the smarty. smarty doesnt raise the f/p too high, just bumps it up earlier. it has several levels but isnt adjustable without rehooking up the downloader, which you cannot do on the fly. each level change takes about 2 minutes.

dz04 I thought the race was 60 100 130?

Pressure bein a problem depends on who you ask. I got a rail guage for that reason. I dont want anything over 27k max wich seems to be about half way on most pressure boxes.

I enjoyed mine too but traded straight up for an mp8 that was proven to be a potent stack with a tst, wich as you can see I ended up gettin a little later. Also I dont know about the autos but I never had any clutch slip with my quad even barkin 4th on the 130 settin.
