Which procedure would be the one to follow?
My first fix to the TC hunt has failed, have been resetting APPS a few times a day now.
On to relocating the apps grounds.
However,
2 procedures have surfaced.
Suncoast Diesel Trans
and
ATS Diesel
Both reroute the apps wire to ground (suncoast to dash, ATS to battery), but one cuts the wire (suncoast) and one taps (ATS - emphasis on not cutting).
The other item of note is the extra wire that ATS routes from APPS to the PCM bypassing the ECM.
Any guidance as to which has been tried and worked, or whatnot?
Thanks.
I have searched and read and read, but a definitive answer was never offered. Just alot of "try this, try that".

Neither. Put a condenser on the alt output terminal. A old points type condenser will work.
I only guess your issue is TC uncertainty. In and out of LU around 50 MPH.
