Which Gauges & Where to Buy From?

Thinking about adding a Pyro, Boost, and Fuel Pressure gauge to my '01 Ram CTD. I would like to put them in one of the pillar post set-ups. I have noticed a lot of guys running Isspro gauges. Are they the gauge of choice? I always ran Auto Meter in my muscle cars? Which is the best gauge? Where is the best place to buy the gauges and pillar post housing I need?

By the way...will adding a pyro gauge void my factory warranty. I noticed there will be some drilling involved.

Thanks for any help.

Call Kyle at Extreme Diesel Performance. (253) 376-8002. He treated me very well and the gauges came with everything needed for the install. Some dealers get a little funny about any install but the local dealer here had no problem with it. His only issue was piercing the wire on the vp44. I'd talk to your local dealer before I did the work.

I dunno, it must be a Canadian thing.

I'm happy with my AutoMeters. I like them because there are no external boxes to mount, and I think they are easier to read.

I chose ISSPro EV gauges for my truck too. For one thing they closely match the OEM gauges which makes it look more like an OEM install. Second the EV (Enhanced Visibility) technology they use makes the face of the gauge seem larger than it really is, thus easier to read. Yeah, their pyro does require mounting an amp box which can complicate things a little but in hindsight it wasn't that big a deal. You can see what my install looks like in my gallery pictures.

Also, you might want to check DieselManor.com for pricing on whatever gauges you decide on. I got my complete package - full a-pillar, pyro & EGT gauges and all wiring components you could need - for $215 plus shipping which brought it to just under $225. I couldn't find anyone that could beat that price.

Well I'm going to be the black sheep of the thread then...

I went with the DiPricol gauges... The white face seems to just about match the stock gauges at night. As for price... The price was great at $305 for all three gauges and the A-Pillar Pod.

Pics are in the gallery...
