which clutch
ok as some of you know i'm looking at a 96 3500 5 speed CTD. (my dream truck) well as you guys know i wont be able to leave it stock for one day . and i also know that the clutch will need to be replaced soon after if i buy the truck. now whats a Good Clutch for a 3500 that will some day be putting out about 500-600 HP and 1000+ lbs/ft with 3.55 gears. the mods it would get would be very close to what i have now. just no lift...... this truck will be my DD and weekend hotrod but it will be a dyno queen, very few sled pulls, and rice eater and work truck. Now i have been an auto guy so please really explain any replys with why i should use said clutch. thanks

The new Southbend 3250 12cb with sprung hub....perfect for your truck. It is really smooth, pedal like stock & holds 600+hp. I love mine! I would not waste your money on a single disc if you plan on pulling.....slip,slip,BANG! Peter from SB told me 3-4 hooks per year won't hurt the clutch.
