moto metals are only a 4.5" bs, which isnt enough, maybe with fender flares it would look ok

The Pro Comp US Strykers have a 6" back space and are forged. They have a really high load rating and you can get them polished or chromed. Thats the ones I would get if I had the cash

I've got some procomps with 4.75" BS and they stick out. With 35" tires and 3" of lift, I had to cut the rear of my front fenders, as well as the plastic airdam. I think it looks better when they stick out a little bit, not a lot, but just a little bit, but everyone's opinions differ. If you look at my pics (the third one I think) you can kind of see how far out they stick with the 4.75" BS.

How large of a tire do you plan on running? High offset wheels are limited for our trucks. For reference, the stock wheel has +43 mm offset/6.25" back space. Pro Comp had some 17x8.5 with a +32 offset/6" back space. Unfortunately they stopped making them. Gear Alloy (www.gearalloy.com) makes 17x9 and 18x9 wheels with +25 mm offset/5.98" backspace. These would give you an extra 5mm space on the inside and stick out 31mm (approx 1.22") beyond the stock wheels. About as close to stock specs you are going to find. If you run a 285/70R17 or a 285/65R18, the tires should just come to the edge of the fender without sticking out. I just ordered the Gear Alloy 714c Locker in 18x9 with 285/65R18E Nitto Terra Grapplers. Will post some pics whem I get them installed. Many of the "tire pros" I talked to recommended at least a 9" wide rim for bigger tires in order to prevent tire cupping thus resulting in shorter tread life.

These are my Helo 6's which are 17x9 with 4.5" backspacing. They stick out about 2" from fenders to give you an idea. Didn't like it at first, but grew on me.

Premature ball joint wear and stress is exasperated by rims that have a centerline moved out farther than stock. I could not find rims other than DODGE rims that worked correctly. Does anyone make rims for an 06 that have stock centerline?

My ball joints wear fast enough as is.

Thanks
