What is the distance between the tires you have now? What size tires do you have now? 215's are 8.5" wide, 235's are 9.25" wide, and 265's are 10.5" wide. You will probably want a little bit of "wiggle" room for when your tires are squashed. I don't know how much.

So your gap will close by about 2." I still don't know how much space you need between the tires so that they don't touch when they squash. Hopefully others will chime in.
