Wheel Ordering Fiasco - 4wheelparts.com

I ordered some wheels from 4wheelparts.com three weeks ago. They would not give me any tracking numbers, just the run-around about where the wheels are for a week and a half. In that time I called twice. Every time I have called I was put on hold for at least 25 minutes. I received three damaged(!) wheels (who needs three wheels?) from them after a week and a half. I called and inquired as to why my wheels had big dings and scratches from tire mounting and dismounting. They said they had no idea. I told them I wanted to cancel the order. They agreed. I asked for my money back, including shipping, for the entire amount. After another 25 minutes on hold, they agreed. They sent UPS to pick up the three damaged wheels two days later. The day after UPS picked up the three wheels I recieved an email late in the day saying I had a package on the way from Trans America Parts (4wheelparts). I called and was put on hold forever again and then told that they could not stop the shipment and that I should just wait to get it, and return it when I receive it. What a ridiculous thing to say. They could hold it there, it hadn't left their facility yet for sure according to the tracking info. Now I have to wait for the package to arrive tomorrow and then return it. How long does it take to cancel an order? They had four days to stop this last shipment. And it was almost 3 weeks after I placed the original order. And now I have to wait weeks to get my money back for all the hassle.

In short, do not order from them if you value your sanity. Or your phone bill (I only have a cell phone because I am in college).

Sorry to hear about that. I have ordered from them before, as well as TireRack.com, and have nothing but good things to say about them. Only place I ever had a problem with was Tyres International.

Funny Enough...

I used tirerack for my tires this go round and they were fantastic. I am baffled at the extremely poor service of 4wheelparts though. It is frustrating.
