Wheel care??
Allrighty I have the chrome wheels on my truck and I just washed it today (it was balmy out--44 ). Anyway the wheels are already showing slight signs of corrosion and they have only been in the snow like twice. I really do not like chrome wheels in a northern climate but I bought the truck when I was still in Atlanta and I did not think about there.
The question is....what is the best way to protect the wheels? Regular wax, or is there any thing better?
I have thought about gettting them painted or PC black. I am not sure how it would look on a white Laramie with all the other chrome but I do like the look of black (OK maybe a real dark grey) wheel. Has anybody painted their own wheels using a spray can?

i would not try to paint chrome with a spray can, best bet is to have them sandblasted and powercoated.
