wheel and tire clearance
i'm looking at geting either these amercian racing
http://www.4wheelparts.com/PDT266954.aspx
or these XD Monster wheels
http://www.4wheelparts.com/PDT244811.aspx
I'm wanting to get 18" wheels to replace my stock 16"
I'm almost sure that they are 8 lug on a 6.5 pattern but I don't know the Offset or the backspacing.
I drive a '99 2500 2WD and it isn't lifted, the only modification/add on is an exhaust system. My question is: will I run into any clearance problems with either of these rims. i'm looking to also get Nitto Terra Grapplers to wrap the rims in. I also want to make sure that if I get these rims and tires that they won't rub the inside of the fenders when I turn it hard.
Thanks

You'll need a wheel that's somewhat similar to the stock wheel, 4.75" backspacing. I just installed American Racing Outlaw II's (4.5" backspacing, 0 offset) with Nitto Terra Grappler 285-75-16's (32.76" tall, 11.42" wide) and I have rubbing at full lock and a little before. There is more rubbing with the new wheels than there was with stock. I also lifted the front 2" before doing this. I think you'll have some issues, but I could be wrong.
The smaller Nitto's come in 275-70-18E (33.27" tall, 10.94" wide) and 285-60-18E (31.50 tall, 11.50" wide), both of which are rather large for your truck. You might want to talk to someone at a tire store before you take the plunge.
You need to find a tire that's 265-60-18, which is about maximum for your truck, or lift the front a couple of inches with some spacers.
