Whats the torque spec for the track bar bolt?

I just recently installed a solid steel industry track bar and just recently noticed knocking when turning the wheel back and forth. I had my girl shake the wheel while i was under looking and saw the end of the track bar that connect to the axle moving. I also noticed that it looks like the bolt was moving so maybe its loose(i dont have any tools here now) but i thought i had tightened it pretty good.

Does anyone know what the torque spec is for that bolt? Thats the only thing i hope is wrong there is know way the bushing could be bad already i hope.

150 ft/lbs, but most people say tighten it like you aint tightnened nothing before. Kill it. Then tighten the bolt some more.

And if that is not enough, replace the trackbar bolts with the redesign ones on an 2008 Ram. They are larger and have improved clamping force.

well i cranked it to 150 but when i shake the wheel back and forth the track bar is still moving and the axle moves side to side also? Each end of the bar move at the frame and axle. I thought the ssi bar was suppose to be solid and not move or is it suppose to move alittle? I have 35 x 12.5 tires and a ssi steering box stabilizer also.

150 ft/lbs is a good start......I had to tighten mine well beyond that to get the clunking sound to stop.

The problem isn't how much torque is on the bolts... you have excessive play in the bar/bushings/brackets.

The trackbar with our zero-deflection bushings won't move at all with just the bolts inserted... no nuts even installed.
