MY lights have been messing with me over the last few weeks and the other day I smelled something strange in the cab. I started home from work 6:00a.m. and the lights would not ome on but like usually I just mess with the switch and they would come on. This time they would not stay on for very long and the smell was getting worse. Had to drive the last two miles home in the dark. I guess you've already figured out what happened.
Headlight switch melted.
I ordered the recall part with the relay and will try to wire it in this week.

Any helpful hints for this procedure?

My power mirrors would work intermittently until about two weeks ago and now they do nothing. Is there any connection to the light switch? I can't make heads or tales of the diagrams in the service manual.
