What's a pressure box and what does it do?
I wanted to know what aspects a pressure box affects on an engine, and also I am soon getting a van aaken c3.2 and wondering what pressure box would be good to stack with it, also what type of supporting mods would I want before I stack or should I stack? and if I do stack what brand would people suggest? I know there are alot of questions here, but it should open a pretty good discussion I think. Thanks.

A pressure box does exactly what it sounds like, it increases the pressure to the injectors. So if you are seeing 23000 psi right now on a wide open run, if you had a pressure box you could see 27000+ depending on how it is set. They are great for throttle response and improved mileage, but can be bad on injectors if used at the real high pressures for extended periods. Some choices are MP8, Quadzilla, Dr. Performance and some otheres I can't think of right now. I personally would run a rail pressure guage with a pressure box to make sure you are on the safe side of things.

I'm not sure about stacking with the VA3.2, but I prefer the Quadzilla as they provide you with a rail pressure gauge. Plus they have a number of updates and I don't think the MP-8 is updateable.

You can purchase a used Edge EZ very reasonable, less than $200. The older ones had 4 factory settings, the newer ones have 3.
Not only are they cheap, they stack well with most timing/duration boxes and programmers, and they provide additional boost fooling!

stock injectors don't like pressure boxes, atleast mine didn't. I got a ez at 90k and went thru three injectors before 100k. I would look for power elsewhere until you get a set of stix.

What level were you running on your EZ? The newer EZs no longer have level 4 or the "secret" 5 and 6 levels.
