what's the Positive side of this swap
Have a chance to pick/up a 96/97 w350 drw with 110,000 Very well Maintained I know the 47 will fit in my crewcab and motor will also but what besides a P pump and the 47 will I gain ? what wires would I need to change to put the motor n trans into my 85 crewcab ? at the price I am looking at it's going to be hard to pass on .Also to run the 205 from my 518 do I need a adapteror would it be easier to swap the front end over also ???

The 47RE would hook right up to your NP205....
You will need the computer to run that transmission though. It's not a hydraulic trans like a 47RH, The 47RE requires a brain to run it.
Won't gain much else, alot of parts on the truck will sell especially interior parts and stuff, and of course the dana 80 rear etc.
