Whats nomal psi boost for 04?

Im getting 20 to 24 psi max boost on my 04 is that low? or about right, i have a quadzilla, and even on the 150 mode, or towing on the 100 mode its the most i get. I have a Scotty air filter, and the 4 inch exhaust with the cool blue tube pre turbo. Im hearing people talk of much more. What is that about? When you guys put after market turbos on that make more boost why? Sorry if its dumb but I havent seen it explained plainly.

that is normal for a stock turbo on an 03 or 04. To get more you need to use an adjustable boost elbow and some form of a boost fooler so the ecm doesn't through an over boost code. Do some searching on here for boost fooler and boost elbow and you will find all kinds of good threads that will go into great detail.

I fyou ever take the stock turbo off you will see the tiny exhaust compressor wheel and know why the factory turbo is so low on boost

I seen 24 stock on mine, 33 on level five and top out at 36 on level 7. So you're at normal psi. Get a boost fooler and adj. elbow or actuator, and you can see over 30psi. 35psi is about the max effeciency range for the turbo, but don't go too far over or the turbo will eventually fail (prematurely).

Im showing anywhere from 36-39 psi with my edge juice attitude. Im assuming thats falsely reading high due to some boost fooling. Anybody know what it is really producing with the juice/attitude??

My boost hit almost 50 psi the other day on the on ramp to get on the interstate with the tst on 9/9 with standard setting and the egts pegged 1500* very quick. I dont have any boost fooler but that seems a little high maybe my boost gauge is reading wrong?
