What's this noise?????????

I just started getting a "popping or clicking" noise coming from the firewall or under the dash when I push in the clutch pedal. pedal and shifting feel totally normal. Sound familiar to anyone? Wonder what this will cost me.

Check the area around the fire wall where your clutch and brake peddle are mounted for cracks.

Could it be the spring holes? I had the bushings wear out on my chev. Check them out.

I had a pop kind of sound whenever I pushed the clutch in and out. It was the plug for the trailer brake controller knocking against the pedal and making a pop.

How old are you? Could it be your knee or ankle poping?
