Whats My Truck Worth
#5
When I bought the truck I planned to use it a few days a week for work ( Landscaping ) but had a key employ quit
so I stayed with one crew and just use my F-350 Dump.
The Dodge is a great truck but I just don't use it enough
and I have a hard time justifying having a 3/4 ton Quad cab Cummins that just doesn't get used enough and when it does it's just for a trip to the store or to go fishing.
I'm still not sure if I want to get rid of it. I do love the truck

To find out what the truck is worth, go to http://www.nada.com
This is the site that dealers use.
FWIW, I went there to see whast my 69 Bronco was worth. According to the site the range is between 8000 to 18000 depending on the condition.
Condition of mine is in the higher end.

I'd say pull off the goodies and sell them in the DTR classified section and then sell the truck as stock. I would think you get the same for it being stock as with goodies.

Hmmm...the NADA website must not be updated. My 04' w/ 125kmiles say's its retail value is $21k, and the trade in is $18k. Of course thats not taking into account that the value of every vehicle has gone down.

Nada said my darn 07 is only worth 29,500 clean trade in and 33,750 for clean retail, thats retarded. I do have some goodies on the truck but thats the base price. I think i'll keep it lol

NADA isn't what it used to be. I'm probably just a conspiracy theorist but I think that the NADA numbers you all are quoting are strictly the "consumers" version. I think that dealers have a black book in their back pockets that average joe can't peak at once again. When I got my '05 a few months back the NADA valuse were WAY high and I mean WAY HIGH!
KBB was in the middle and Edmunds.com was a little high but the closest to real life. My credit union still uses NADA trade value as the max loan value for a vehicle and I still added in local taxes and an extra $2000 so I could accessorize a bit.
