AFE Stage 1 with a Proguard filter will be the best - regular media will work just fine too.

I have the AEM Brute Force. LOts of turbo whistle, No oiling the element to worry about, easy to install, and looks cool with the polished intake tube. I liked the AFE but this one wasw only $250 bucks with free shipping from www.xtremedieselperformance.com as opposed to about $420 for a stg2 AFE w/progard7. Im happy with it so far.

Im running the Volant on my 05 because I didnt want so much turbo whistle in the cab, I run the AEM on the 02 and you could hear the turbo quite a bit more than the Volant.

Check out last months Diesel Power. They installed and dynoed the most popular intakes. From what their results said I'm sticking with my setup. I have an AFE drop in filter and the silencer tube replaced with a PVC tube. You couldnt see hardly any difference between all the setups even stock. I would imagine the more add on high HP items you would add to the truck thats when you would notice the difference between the cfm's they would flow.

Now that is intresting! I may just buy the Napa Gold drop in filter and be done with it!
