Wet undercarriage???

Crawled under to replace my Carter with my spare and noticed the undercarraige, around the tailshaft of the tranny, was wet. What could this be? I couldn't find any drips around the tail of the tranny.

Might be the output seal leaking.

Would the output seal leak when it's sitting in the driveway? There doesn't seem to be any evidence of a leak in that region (no drips). Is this an easy fix or should it be taken to a tranny shop?

Yeah. Mine's leaking on my t-case and there's no drips on the driveway but the undercarriage is covered.
