Is it plugged in. Mine doesn't come on when the truck is plugged in. Other then that you really don't need it just listen for the solenoid's on the driver side inner fender to click then start it up.

If you do need a sensor, a Cummins dealer is probably your best bet. They had the best price when I needed a new sensor for my KSB.
As for the light not coming on if the truck is plugged in I wish... LOL Was a nice balmy -33F this morning at 8:00....
