Went to DDP yesterday....

I posted a thread before asking about a "shudder" that was taking place. I took my truck in to Dynomite Diesel Performance in Monroe, WA so they could diagnose the problem. They said it felt like the torque converter was locking up so hard that it was causing axle wrap... They also said I was running low on fuel pressure: 9 PSI at idle and 4 PSI under load! Those numbers don't sound too good!!! Looks like i'll be replacing the lift pump really soon

Lucky for me, DDP is a long way away.

I say lucky, because if I was closer, I'd probably be both broke and divorced

sounds to me like she might be tracking you by the GPS on your cell phone!! good reason to leave it home when you go to the shop.
i guess thats the reason i'm single too!! i spend to much time working on my truck as one of my ex girlfriends told me. but at least i know my truck will take care of me and keep me excited and won't leave me.

I'll look into those too. How bad is axle wrap on the drivetrain components?

The people up there at DDP are great! I even talked to Ross and we priced out a set up for over 600 HP I can't wait til this summer so i can start getting the parts!l

they told me to look into traction bars, but that it wasn't a big deal. but when it wraps so hard that it makes the turbo bark sometimes, you'd think it should be a bigger deal
