Well the new pump is in
Well I just finished installing a Walbro 392 was a long time coming. Pressure was about 7 psiand dropped down to about 4psi with any power on it at all. First I found out I had a in tank pump. Install put on hold, got a Draw straw II, **** had to work over time both Sat. and Sun. Well got it installed Sat. Try removeing the tank and installing by your self (Fun not) Frends had to work. Had to adjust the press it was only at 7 lbs (there are several post stating how they were set to 16psi when other people got them ) now its 17 psi drops to about 14psi WOT, Made a short trip everything seams fine. Got up Sun. Truck was hard to start looked and could not find any drips or leaks but went back and checked that all fittings ect. were tight. Still it seams to run better smoother and Quicker response. Will try in the am and see if it starts hard. One can olny hope.

You may have too much fuel pressure at startup causing your hard start. I read somewhere BD Power? that they have a high pressure fuel pump that starts out low and then kicks the pressure up after the engine has oil pressure. Just my 2 cents.

Thanks for the reply I guess I had a small leak in one of the fittings some where. The pressure is at 15 now and does not drop below 12. And starts like it use to first try . Put 150 miles on the other day no problems. I like this Walbro system. Got it from Wideopen Diesel they were quick and I got every thing I needed to do the mod .
