Question Well, my quad rail/fuel press. guage has died?

I read a few months back when i bought mine that some where failing, and made sure to send in my warranty card for that reason. Looks like it was a good idea, today driving down the road i noticed it went from numbers to just 7 random dots and will not toggle back to read niether. I would think if it was just the fuel sending unit it would still read rail press.? Got to be the unit itself i did check the ground and alls good, any one else having prob's with thiers, if so any problems getting refunded??

I had one when they first came out and I took it off and sold it. It threw codes and gave me problems. I think they should have done more testing before they released them and let the public be their testers

Stock600. You were lucky. Mine did the same thing except that mine showed a number 8 instead of a 7. BUT, mine also started making my truck run really really badly. It was dieseling to the 10th power!!!! Really awful!
I pulled it off and have already contacted Qzilla and you definitely should too. They will replace it with one of the new better units if it's still under warranty.....

Did not know this. Oops I messed up. I ordered one last week. Hope they hold off and send me the redesigned unit. Is there any way I could tell?

We have not shipped ANY since we figured out what was breaking.

Here is what happened. We built and tested the RPG. We ordered the parts and built the first couple of runs.

We go to build another run and the manufacturer of one of the regulators discontinued the part we were using but, they had a NEW exact match part. So, they make them, the data sheet is right and they say it is right. We get a sample, populate a board and it works. No problem right?

Well, a few weeks/months into it we find out they do not do as well as the original part. We get a few that break here and there and as we do we will replace them. Not sure what else I can do??

In the meantime we found new parts and actually re-designed a small portion of it so that this cannot ever happen.

We have not shipped anything until we get the new ones. It is a total pain but, it takes time to stop 1 design and do a 360 and get it going again.

If you had/have a bad one it gets replaced with the new one. We have never given anyone a warranty run around or even second guessed anyone and we won't. When the first few broke we just sent a new one just like it as we had no idea what was going on until we could get one and check it out.

So, that is the story, the new ones are better and even have a brighter display now.

If you get a whole new one the harness is even nicer. It is as nice as it could possibly be now and there won't be anyone disappointed in it.

I wish the original had never had an issue but, that did not happen. At this point we are doing the best and only thing we can do.

If that does not make you happy then I am not sure what I could do for you.

Spoken like a true gentlemen qzilla....... Not many of them left that will tell it like it is. Unfortunetly engineering hickups do happen from time to time. All you can do is correct the problem and press on.

Thanks for your honesty!!!!!

Qzilla,
Perhaps you could PM me or email at ccie7879@hotmail.com. So far, I am having a bad experience with Quadzilla and am becoming increasingly disappointed regarding warrantee issues on my rail pressure/fuel pressure gauge.

If so i will be sending the guage, harness and sender back for replacment, i would rather do this all once and not have any more troubles if your ok with that? Qzilla-
Is the ground wire on the new harnesses now a heaver gauge wire? I thought it was much too thin before. Thanks.
