weight distribution
This will be the first time pulling my camper with my new (to me) truck (in sig). the campers GVWR is 5500# and has a dry hitch weight of 627#. More info here, model number 23CMS. I used to pull this with a 2004 chevy trail blazer so the weight distribution was a must on that.
so i guess my question is do i need to use it with the new rig? When hooked up to the truck while empty the truck went down 1/8 of an inch so i don't see a point in it.
Also the receiver is adjustable height wise so i would want it set up so the camper and the truck both sit level correct? how the receiver is set up now (from the trail blazer) the camper sits with the tongue about an inch out of level on the high side.

just hooked everything up with it all load and i came to the conclusion that the fience just packs wayyyy to much stuff . the truck sagged about 1.25 inches loaded. i threw the WD on and everything is good and level now.
