Hey all just wanted to let you guys know that I am going to try to set up a meet for one of the dates listed in the title.

April 26th
May 10th.

Basis:
Now here we go. I've met up with a couple of local guys with cummins diesels, and powerstrokes. Now I would love to get a meet going together where we can all kind of see what other people have done to their trucks in the area, and maybe get to make some friends.

Location:
Location is up in the air as of right now. I do have a few meet locations sort of in mind that pending some interest from the guys here in the area I will try to set up.

1) Vincentown Diner. Located right dab on the intersection of Route 206/Route 38 in the Lumberton/ Easthampton area.
2)Cherry Hill Mall parking lot near the Red Lobster right off Route 38 in cherry Hill.

Others would be open to suggestion, and feel free to post up ideas on where to meet. The more help the better

Time:
I would like to try to set something up for 11-12 in the morning/afternoon, and maybe run to around 3PM. After that if there is enough interest maybe cruise to another location to grab food or something of that nature.

Do's, and Don'ts
Same idea just be respectful. Anywhere we meet is going to be kind enough to allow us to use their parking lot, so just keep that in mind. If your company paid money to lay down asphalt (even if it was 20+ years prior) would you want it damaged. No, so just be kind and respectful.





Essentially, I've gotten a lot of hype from the locals that I know and some members on here that there has been a lot of interest in getting together to do something like this. Hell, I know I would love to sit in a parking lot and admire and learn what others have done to their trucks. Just pm me with interest, questions, comment, or anything you need. I'll try to be organizing this event so let me know what you guys all think

Or if better, which it might be. Possibly a meet on April 27th which would be a Sunday??

I find it easier to do Sundays for me..but could do either. A lot of people now days have to work the Saturdays (Morning-afternoon anyway).. just a thought.

Agreed, I checked with my buddy with a lifted F-250 and he said Sunday would be best. I guess we can set things up for Sunday the 27th????

If this is the same guy your referring to I'll try to PM him as well to make a showing over here if he can.

Yeah it's the same guy. The guy with the 22.5's and 7" stacks. Yup, I'm going to post up on some other forums too see what they say.

Im in for the 27th as well, I have no duty that weekend so I can drive. Hopefully my gauge panel will be done...4th generation already on this thing.[coffee]

Looking foward to meeting everyone. If anyone needs any fuel fittings, hose or that sort I will bring all sizes if anyone needs as well.

Sounds like a good idea, will have to keep in touch as it draws near, still a waaaaays off, plenty of time for me to forget. By then maybe a few others will join the road train.

what kind of place ya lookin for, just somethin with a big lot ? Can not for the life of me remember the name but isn't there a pretty large lot food place right near great adventure, Place gotta be dyin for business with the park not open yet, just a thought as I am not sure how far from Jackson the group involved is. or hey, there is always a Hooters not too far from civilization, and I haven't run across one that has had a problem with us showing up.

Ok the meet is still on for the 27th. I have not yet looked into the All Star Sports Pub, but not too sure how many people would be interested in the spending of money.

*****Is anyone up for a cruise to Toms River after the meet to meet up for some White Castle? I know diesel fuel is up there these days, but it would be nice to get a cruise together. There is the Vincentown Diner on Route 206 there I was thinking about which I have not gotten an answer about meeting there yet. I'm still going to call again. If not Hooters would never say no to a meet there as they have them all the time. Also a last chance would be the Cherry Hill mall parking lot and with that we can just show up

Im down for whatever. We could meet at the mall, then do a cruise to a diner, for a sit down meet and greet, that would be good if the weather is nice, plus be cool having a line of trucks rolling down the road.

I think we're going to shoot for the Loews on 541 right next to the Friday's near Dick's. Seems like a pretty good spot. Then I would love to do a cruise somewhere to grab food.


Any ideas on where to go for food? I would love to do a White Castle cruise down to Tom's River.

Meet Location:

Lowes on 38 near the Super Wawa, and Salad Works. Right across from the Nissan dealership

cool, so as of now its wawa at rt 38. what town is that so I can google directions.

Lumberton, Hainesport. I think some of the stores in that Plaza...are split by the 2 towns... It is at the intersection of Highway Rt. 38 and Rt.541

You could take 295 S..to Rt. 38...head East. 5 miles or so WaWa on right.

OR

Go South on US 206 til you run into High Way Rt. 38,,(Vincentown Diner) make a right (West) for about 3 miles... (WaWa ,Lowes will be on the opposite side of the highway...take jug handle in front of Canals liquor store.

OR

Take the NJ turnpike...South.....Past PA turnpike bridge (exit 6) continue S. on NJ turnpike... to Exit 5 or 4?? (BURLINGTON/MT. HOLLY EXIT) is what you want... get off exit at tolls... make Right hand turn onto RT 541... few miles..be in right lane.. TURN RIGHT at BURGER KING (RT. 541 BYPASS) continue for 3 miles or so...you'll cross Rt. 38 ...WAWA...MAKE RIGHT TURN//..

WaWa...Lowes...

I would say another exit near Bordentown...but that area has been a mess with all the road construction...going on....lately...during the week anyway..

Not only that DMV has been having spot inspections during the week there...with portable testing units...etc... more road jam..at least this is what I observed.

Yup meet time is 12:00 at the Lowes parking lot in Lumberton near the wawa and Nissan dealer. Right off 38 and 541. I will be installing my stacks saturday night :)

Also for Sunday,, I've met with the manager of area's Valero Stations,,of the area with discussion to get a "group/club diesel gathering" Discounted fillup. He is suppose to get back to me in a few days. For those that might be interested that is. I told him that it would have to be worth it for us to consider filling up at his station. Fuel there is currently $4.15 .

hey guys, i dont know if your meet is a different location or not, but theres been a sceduled meet on the 27th in bordentown for weeks now.

As far as I know..(I've only been on this site for a few months though)Bordentown, was just a suggestion a while back while Who'sNext was deciding a confirmed place time to meet..Unless I must of missed something between here at DTR and the CF BUT after gathering, not sure if a place to eat//and if so where just yet...maybe Bordentown?? Guess we'll just have to see what everyone wants to do?

Meet is on yes. Sorry for any confusion there may have been. Anyways, the meet is at the Lowes parking lot near the wawa and Nissan off 38 and 541. The meet is scheduled for 12:00 noon time, and I'm going to probably be there around 11:30. Just got my new surprise on tonight :) They are 6" by 36" :)

I am guessing that is 1520 rt 38, Lumberton NJ........ hope so 'cause thats what is gettin punched into my gps.......... see ya'll down there.

Wow, what a good day to do this, who knew it would cost me a measly 500 bux to go..... I gotta get some new pics of my truck but for a hint, check my ads. good bunch of guys with lots of stories, too bad more of us northerners didn't make it. Lots of stacks, lifts, turbos, downloaders, boxes.... and flat out nice rides. Even a pair of p strokes came to the event. Only bad thing was the traffic on the turnpike :( I think I averaged 20 mph till I hit the p way. saw a real nice solid toneau cover for sale too, pm whoznxtls1 ^ for info. Good to meet you all and look forward to the next time.

only regret is not bringing my camera, would have gotten some good shots of some nice trux, I gotta say thanks again for the hand swappin the hood, and I gotta keep that lift of yours in mind when I go look for mine, your truck looks awesome with it, and those tires make it even taller !

It was nice meeting the guys/ladies that came to the gtg. I should have taken notes to try to keep up with the performance lingo :) Nice trucks there for sure. Love the Alcoa wheels on the white 3500 DRW.. never seen something so intimidating in person for a set of wheels. Thanks again, Whos next and Mike for the Smarty setup Demo and your inputs about your mods. Who's next great job with the lift/and stacks. (Man, lot of work you put into that truck making in look great since the first I saw your rig..in such a short amount of time!!
