Weard Transmission condition
Hi Guys ...Anyone every run into this . I had my Trans done about 5k ago ...47re The trans seems to either unlock the converter if I hit a hard bump in the road .
I thought maybe the throttle fluckuation with the TPS ...
And one time the trany lost clutch pressure ...it felt like a low fluid condition ... the level was fine in gear when I checked it .
So I droped it off at my Tranny guy He checked everything out he scaned the truck for codes and ran the truck with the scanner on the truck and drove it for a half an hour and no problems .... no codes .
So I took the truck ...I though maybe a flat spot on the tps ...The TPS on the truck was a brand new ...I checked the resistance ...it was fine ...I still replace it with another TPS I had in stock to be sure .
It has not done it yet ... I have not gone on any long runs or hit any bumps ...yet .
I checked all the electrical conections .
I'm stumped I will say the condition dose happen in forth gear ...I have been running the truck around in forth and from all the reading that is a bad thing unless I'm over 50 ...and I don't mean my age ...LOL
I must say the truck is a different feeling truck with the OD off .
I'm going to run it and see what happens ...but if you guys ever ran into something like this ...please let me know .
Thanks
Greg
