Wax on, wax off?

Kind of a silly question, I guess...but does anyone know if there is generally wax on a new rig coming right off the lot? If not, I want to do it now while the weather is nice.

Thanks!

Re:Wax on, wax off?

Ahh, Grasshoppers...listen up. There is one heck of a lot of sheetmetal on that truck! Liquid Glass is pretty easy on, and real easy off. That's what this old man uses. I have a cap too, and I actually contemplated fashioning a gantry affair to do the cab and cap roof. But with the rear door open, I proped the ladder against the seats and back along the cap and was able to get it pretty easily. Washing, waxing, and detailing is easily a full day. Tomorrow....we paint fence.

I'm too lazy and don't want to have to repeat the work, so I'll be heading over to Ming, for a no wax finish!
