Watercooled turbo?

Watercooled turbo?
Why dont these engines use watercooled turbos? I was reading that these units are good for long highway driving where constant heat is a factor.

The reason you dont see water cooled on the Dodge application of the B series is probably cost, and also need.
I dont think it is a requirement for long turbo life.
ISB's with VGT turbos are water cooled.

I think cuz gas egt's are higher during normal driving. If you let it cool before shut down water cooled doesn't provide much longevity. It does make it cool down faster tho.
