Water temp Gauge

Water temp Gauge
Hi, I am new to this site so pardon if I ask any silly questions.
I am installing a 3 gauge piller in a Dodge 2002 2500. A water temp gauge, an oil pressure gauge and a trans temp gauge. Trans temp is not a problem. For the water temp gauge is there any other place to add another sender other than replace the stock water temp sender. Didn't want a dead gauge on dash.
The oil I think I can piggyback with stock sender.

temp gauge
I just pulled a gallery plug on the head, left bank if looking from front. Whether it is mechanical or electric with sending unit, just use correct bushing for plug you pull out. I have three across the head to monitor temp gradients, not a single leak. I am also using one mechanical, and two electric. The electric sending unit types are actually more acurrate, of course the mech. could just be getting old.

The boost and EGT are coming soon. Wanted to know the real temps first. I do agree the boost and EGT are needed to keep track of thing s too. Step at a time. Working on the Dakota R/T too.
Thanks I am glad I found this forum seems to be a lot of knowledge here. Thanks for the feedback.

This is a great group! All my questions get good quick responses. I am on 4 different Dakota forums, that don't compare to the knowledge here.
Another question before I trial and error would anyone happen to know the size of the water plugs for the water temp gauge I got. I was going to just pull it out and take it somewhere but when I pull it I get fluid. Save me a little trouble. I have animals around the farm don't need to harm any. Don't know how much coolant will come out of the first plug.
