Water Seperator Drain
When you drain the water seperator where does the fuel/water come out? I know where the lever is but the manual doesnt tell you where to locate the catch can?

That's odd, must be another "cost cutting" measure by mother Daimler.
Previous years it came with a length of hose that terminated right above the front differential (if so equipped, don't know where it ended on the 2 wheel drive flavors)

I open mine for just 5 seconds or so on most every fillup.Catch can?Whats that? Most of the places selling diesel the fill up areas are already nasty. If in a big hurry or? I do forget once in a while.Third diesel been doing same routine for more then a decade.
