Wastegate questions

I can hit 30-32 psi with the mods listed in my sig. Is there a way to tell if my wastegate is disabled? I didn't think I was supposed to be able to boost that high. Is this normal, or is there something up with my wastegate?

I think you mean enabled.

Anyway, look for a pipe plug in the compressor's boost port to the wg actuation line.

I have a stock boost elbow on it. I tried to push and pull on the rod from the actuator, and I could not get it to move. Should it?

The spring is realy stiff. You are in good shape all the way to 36psi.

So, stock boost elbow and 30 psi with 75 hp nozzles is normal, and ok. Thanks!

The stock WG is set to to limit boost to around 20psi.

If you're getting 30psi, then someone has fiddled with your WG.

30psi is perfectly safe-- just not stock. When I had 75hp sticks with a stock WG, I could not exceed 20psi.

I think your "stock" boost elbow isn't stock at all

I know the boost elbow is stock, because it came off of a friends truck that was bone stock. He could not exceed about 20 psi with it. That is why I questioned the wastegate.
