i want the door buzzer gone!

alright ...i wanna be able to have the doors wide open without draining any battery...i dont wanna see the dome light and i don't wanna hear the door buzzer....where do i begin?

there are some door pins that are located towards the front of the doors, they're actually mounted to the cab, but w/the doors open you can push the buttons & the buzzer/lights will go out, you can pull the pin/housing out of the cab & just unplug the wires that go into it & then you'll be able to open the doors w/out the buzzer or lights & if you ever want them back all u have to do is plug them back up, & I just used some pliers/screwdriver to pop mine out, hope this helps, Dusty

hey easy way open the fuse door on the side by the driver door and theres a little black box pull it out or away it will stop busing

I have in the past wired the door switch up to a toggle, so I can still have the dome on with the door, but also leave the door open with out draining my battery. It was pretty easy, just insert the switch inline with the existing one, and mount it in the kick panel.

Just don't do what i did... wedge a bolt in between the door , and the switch , to hold it pressed in with the door open, while installing your gauges , then , after a few hours , forget the bolt and close the door... I need a new door switch
