W7s ?

A friend of mine just got a new system put in his boat and part of it is a 10W7for his base. This is the first one I have heard and it is some of the cleanest base I have ever heard. So, I was wondering if anybody has been able to fit a 10 (or any other) W7 in these trucks.

The W7's are a very nice sub. Expensive and need a lot of air and power but they are very nice.

While I got this thread goin I think I am gona go ahead and hijack it too.

I was also thinkin of a Kenwood Excelon KDC-X891 head unit.

Also thinin of some infinity components and runnin either a JL 300/4 or JL 450/4 for the doors and keep in my 500/1 if it is enough power. I love my probox 12s but I am thinkin of tryin somethin differant for base. They have somthing comin out that is supposed to be cleaner and louder than my current set up but I dont know if it has been released yet or not.

I know this subject has been beat to death but I appreciate any and all opinions.

well the a buddy of mine has a f250 extended cab and had to take the back seat out to get enough airspace that is "required" for 2 10w7's and had a JL 1000/1 amp and they were under powered but sounded nice but if airspace is a issue the w6 is great

it would truly be slick to build a watertight box that fits under the cab and hold sthe subs, with just the ports drilled into the cab floor and sealed. But , it might be a body off installation.

that would be cool but it would be easier to do a blow through box in the bed and if you go that route then you can do 2 13w7's with 2 JL 1000/1 mono blocks and then you would have a very loud setup

but then you would loose even more space in the bed, not that the toolbox would like loosing its space...........
