Vulcan Liberty Fuel Module Pressure

I just replaced my stock fuel module with a Vulcan Liberty standard module. This does not have the draw straw upgrade. I have an Airtex torpedo style lift pump. With the stock fuel module I had 19 PSI at idle and 5 PSI wide open throttle at 2,000 RPM. With the Liberty module I get 15 PSI at idle and 2 or less at WOT. I cant figure out if the Liberty module has more free flow on the return or more restriction on the outlet. Anyone have any insight? I'm putting an Edge Comp on this weekend and I don't want to toast my VP44.
