vp44 rpm

I got a new turbo and I need the rpm to keep it spooled. It fuels hard to 3200 now but I would really like it to fuel hard to at least 3800 if not even higher. What programmer will do that?

Adrenaline will fuel to 3600 and rev to 3900 or so on any rig, some trucks it will fuel to 4100 and bounce up to 4250 or so. With the new custom tuning feature that is being beta tested, I imagine you could get 4K rpms out of any 98.5-02.

Redline is the only one I know of that offers full fuel to 4000 rpms (and I do own a TST ce). Don't forget valve springs for those kinds of revs.

I run an older program on the smarty that suppose to have 3700rpms but i can run any gear out to 3800+

I am getting ready to update it to the new revo program and see how it does.

with the redline on tho its a whole new ball game, 4k comes very quick, sometimes goes right on past it to 4100

why have no one ever posted a dyno graph of the redline box fueling to 4000 rpm. never seen one, does one even exsist?

I know of someone that did extensive dyno testing with the redline box but won't share numbers or graphs due to the numbers

Just curious Thanks

where are the graphs of the smarty fueling to 4k?

i haven't dyno'd with the redline yet but i know it pulls harder than my drag comp/smarty stack. and it shoots to 4k like no tomorrow, whether thats considered "fueling" to 4k or not, it scoots up to 4k very fast and stays there.

We have not claimed to have full fueling to 4k for the vp44 YET

But we will show a dyno sheet when we do, I can guarantee that

well I have the smarty, edge juicew/attitude stack and it fuels hard but not high enough. Is there a way I could get the new version of the smarty to try it or do I need the adrenaline?

Bob, I have to agree with you on the Redline Hype, I have searched and searched for 4K dyno numbers but have never seen a run to 4K that wasn't falling off steeper than torque/HP rise on the other side of the plateau around 2K.

Read on one site where a guy posted his redline graph. And while it did rev to 4000rpm, it was only making like 200hp. After 3500 it dropped power. Truck had a silver bullet, ddp sticks (I think 200hp or larger), hrvp, and that's all I can remember. The owner talked to chip himself at bluechip and chip even said that there's just not enough timing available in the VP to make power that high up.

Well, you cannot get FULL fueling to 4K. You can get them to fuel way up there.

We are making some changes right now to offer fueling to pretty much as far as you want to go. We are also seeing that it takes a LOT of timing at that those rpms to keep the powerband up.

When I have it all figured out we will let everyone know and I am certain we will have plenty of graphs to show everyone as well.

The hit and miss 4K thing aggrevated me so I am not going to quit until ALL of Adrenaline boxes are able to do it.
