vp44 and fuel gauge

vp44 and fuel gauge
i have just had a stock vp44 replced by a bosch shop and the pump is a reman.but the pump itself is black has any one used this pumps?also they put on a new lift pump and a fuel gauge its reading 14 at idle and 10-9 at wot is this bad with everything being replaced i think it looks a little low and i have the scotty smart fuel sys. installed also and my milage also is bad its like 13.5 is that low??thanks for the help.

13.5 is pretty low for mileage. Even in the dead of winter with the truck doing a lot of idling and all city driving I'd still stay in the 15's. Mileage has improved with every tank since I've gotten the Smarty hax Check the air pressure on your tires.

yes it ahs a one year warranty one it and also the mileage thing when my old vp44 died my m,ileage was like 11 but now sense i got the new in it is very sowly comeing back up i hope returns to what it used to be but thanks for all the advice oh and i do need to check tire pressure
