Actually, they do NOT rebuild pumps for FedEx. FedEx is a huge company that would need VP44s in much greater quantity than Blue Chip could ever hope to dream of providing.
Rather, Blue Chip sells a version of the VP44 that has had the electronics beefed up to cope with the PC board failures that FedEx was having problems with. After a number of failures, FedEx went to Bosch and asked them to do something about it or else.
Bosch then upgraded the electronics on the pump.
As a result ALL NEW VP44s rebuilt since this changeover will have the new electronics. You don't have to get them from Blue Chip. You can get them from Industrial Injection as well. Oh, and you can get a HOT ROD version from I.I with the improved electronics-- more power AND more reliability.
