VP-44 and LP dead...new truck bought

Pump(s) died a week ago. Truck still runs, but not under load pulling trailer. Cummins says both VP and LP are shot, DC service says both are OK. Traded truck on '04 CTD.
My question: Will the K&N filter from '02HO fit/work in the '04?

I dont think so but dont quote me on that one. whenever I see air filter setups it lists 94-02 and 03-04 but they might be just listing 2nd and 3rd gen. sepearate I'm sure someone can tell you. maybe look at an online store and see if the aprt numbers are different?? just some ideas
good luck
