Vise Gripped my Wastegate hose....

And nothing happened...

Only hit 25psi...

Was in 3rd though...

Do I need to be in a higher gear to pull more boost or is something not right?

stock turbo, i'm pretty sure thats normal.

if u have gauges, the 10 plate is a must for even normal driving.

Yeah a #10 plate isn't going to kill your truck!! Trust me once you install that sucker you will kick yourself for waiting this long to install it.

4th gear you might get more boost but stock fuel is going to be around 25 on a 12V. I don't make full boost until 4th gear.

Put the #10 in the same position as your stock plate (in the center) and drive it like that. If the clutch starts to slip slide it back a little bit.
