video of my transmission slipping

heres a video of my truck speeding up from a stop, part throttle, maybe 10-15psi, wasn't looking at the boost gauge. you guys think its tranny time? I have a full Goerend on the way.

Bump..

Sure seems like the tranny....Your RPM is sure high for the speed your going..
Anyone else??

Noticed the same thing High RPMs for such low speed. I wonder if you let of the throttle if it would shift up a gear?

The rpm's stay pretty much the same while the truck accelerates 40 mph. That's the most inefficient converter I've ever seen, especially since that wasn't even WOT. Good thing you have a built one on the way.

That makes my old one look good... I would slip so bad it was hard to get it going, burnt new fluid in less than two weeks

yeah, its getting worse by the day. did you guys notice the 1000 rpm drop when the tc locked up?

wow i thought my tranny was slipping bad, but you can actually notice when im going thru the gears and when i lock the converter it only drop 300 rpms i think

hey, thats like how my auto was before I swapped to the 5spd.. Plus i had a nice TC shutter under hard accel, lol. I wouldn't mind a built Goerand at all, i might do that when my 5spd gives way.
