Unhappy Vibrating when accelerating at 0km to 15km

My 2007 Megacab vibrates between 0KM to 15KM when acclerating and vibrating goes away after. The dealer has put an order in for some U-Joints however, U-Joints (-400) are on back order. Will the the repalcementof U-Joints take care of this issue or are we facing with a possible driveshaft or it possibly the anti-slip? Has anyone experienced this..please advise.

Very common issue. Most attribute it to drive line angles. You need to shim the intermediate bearing for the rear drive shaft. I'd do it in 1/4" increments until the vibration disappears or is minimized.

By the way, my truck does it also. But it doesn't bother me enough to do anything about it.

Wait and see if the u-joints fix it. Had the same issue, joints looked ok, but one had seized caps on it and caused a strange vibration.

My Mega Cab has vibrated since day one. I have 50k on it and it hasn't gotten any better or worse. Like ptgarcia says, its related to the driveline geometry. If I throw my ATV in the bed or tow, its way less noticable.

I have a vibration or shutter with my 06 Mega Cab only from a dead stop to 15 - 20 MPH. It is alot more noticable with mt fifthwheel attached. After 15-20 MPH she is smooth. Is it U-joints or intermediate bearing? I want to take it in to the dealership under warranty but they do npt impress me with there work.

I also get a real shutter when accelerating hard with my bumper pull trailer hooked on in 3rd or 4th gear. Any answers for this?

Crawl under your truck and look for a line of grease thrown from the u-joint. If you find a line you definitely have a bad u-joint. If you don't find a line then it could be drive line geometry or it could still be a bad u-joint.

If it is more pronounced with a 5er on or even a TT then it is probably a u-joint as the weight of the 5er or TT is supposed to "fix" the drive line angle as there is weight on the truck changing the angles.
