Verifing fuel press. gauge readings
Just finished the install of my new gauges, ISSPro FP/Boost/EGT (Big thanks to Rod at Wildcat!) What would be the easiest way to verify the fuel pressure agaisnt what I'm seeing at the gauge... at startup/idle it'll slowly climb to about 3-4psi, crusing it'll fluctuate anywhere from 2-6psi, after cruising a bit she'll idle around 6 then drop to almost 0 at wot. But always max at 6psi.
Guessing the lift pump on on her way out the door, but before I throw it at the dealer (only 74K on the clock) with my readings as the complaint, is there an easy way to verify the pressure readings i'm seeing are accurate? (preferably without having to buy anything major just to test with).
Fuel filter was just changed in Dec (9K ago) so I don't think that would be the cause. BTW the gauge is hooked up to the bottom of the fuel filter canister no kinks or leaks, mech gauge w/no isolator.
Are there any 'key complaints' specified in a TSB I can print out to take with me to use on the dealer to get them to test it and replace it? If its the lift pump, then I'd say the gauges just paid for themselves 10x over saving me from blowing the VP, which I'm certain with my luck would occur at 100,001 miles.

Dead on guys....lift pump replaced hours ago....was only flowing 18gpm instead of the required 48..... now idle @ 14psi....11 cruise, and 9 wot. Sure does serve as great proof to me that gauges are a *must have*. A couple hundread bucks and a day install probably just saved me some big time cash further down the road.
