Vegas and the NFR

Anyone been watching the National Finals Rodeo this week? I'm stoked. I'm leaving for Vegas today and staying at the Frontier tonight. Got tickets for the 9th round tomorrow. First time going to the NFR and I'm hopin' to have a blast.

I don't have cable, or I would be watching... The wife and I hardly ever watch TV so cable aint worth the money.

You ought to have a blast. The wife wants to go back to Vegas, I've never been, and guess when I want to schedule it?

Heck Matt, your in NV how hard can it be to make the drive? It was an awesome night. Enjoy watching in on TV but to see it live. Watching Clayton Foltyn riding the bull, Clayton's Pet, that was named after him when he was 9 years old. And it was the bulls last ride before being retired. Seeing Clay Tryan and Patrick Smith setting a new team roping arena record with a 3.5. Plus the fact that I came back home with the same amount of money that I had in my wallet on the day I got there. All in all a good time. And never forget the advertisment "what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas."

Edit: Dodge had a big area set up with Mega-Cabs on display. Don't like the first gen style fender flares on the dually. Had the cut-away set up of the Cummins and Hemi's. Had an original HEMI engine on display. And we kept trying to talk the Dodge reps out of their Dodge Rodeo leather jackets. No go there. Did get a cool Dodge bandana (even had made in the USA on it). Also, had a Viper and Viper V-10 engine on display. And the Charger pace car was there. Probably could have filled up half the parking lot with all the Dodge trucks that were there. Good times.
