variable geometry HX40V compr map up for grabs
Found a HX40V charger compressor map, used in a 7,8 liter IVECO engine. It even has a comparison curves between wastegated and variable geometry chargers. Neat.

I just wish a compressor map meant something to me
Presure vs air flow makes sense, but the circles around them?
I aced calculus, but am still clueless. Sombody pm me and beat some sense into me piz
Thanks for posting artsi- nice find

The airflow axis has a cubic meter format, rather than lbs/min as what Holset usually uses.
I visited following web page to find attached formula to do conversion to lbs/min flow. (Note, formula has flow per second, and compressor map has flow per an hour !!!)
http://www.ztechz.net/id6.html
1 m³/s = 2118.88 cfm, 10 lb/min = 144.718 cfm

Circles are "efficiency islands" and show the efficiency: 60%, 70%, 80% etc.
The other radii are shaft speed in RPMs (80,000; 90K, 100K, etc)
A compressor maps relates shaft speed to 1) pressure ratio 2) airflow, properly listed in POUNDS of air (mass), and 3) efficiency

this will pretty much fill every last bit of brain space you have left with turbo information.
