Depends on which housing you get. They use several. Do you have a stick or auto?

I had one with the small housing and it spooled very well. If you have less than 400cc of fuel then small housing will work.

i don't know what you mean 400cc fuel, but i do plan to go with bully dogs 7s and 89tv soon.

That's not fair J.R... these VPs won't push that much fuel ;) :D

Like bullwagon said they do make smaller housings for the 50, and I believe with the amount of fuel you are talking you should be able spool it...but I think it is still going to be slow, especially if you have a tight convertor.
I have a hx50 similar to vans with either a 16 or 17cm housing and running quite a decent amount of fuel on a 24 valve, and I can spool it quite well, but I do have a 5 speed.
You may even want to consider going right to twins.....because I can still hit 1500 EGT's with the hx50. Especially if you want to add more fuel....believe me, you will! ;D
J.R Adkins, e-mail me if you get a chance, I have a couple quick questions to ask you. firstname.lastname@example.org
