Guys,
I just got my Van Aaken box for my 2002 CTD and I got a great deal on it. I bought it knowing it was for the 2001 Dodge and that I would have to get the adapter plug to fit the MAP sensor on the 02. However, I cannot get in touch with Van Aaken and my emails go unanswered. Does anyone out there have any adapter plugs they would be willing to sell? I know they are not common, but I was hoping someone would have the lying around from an old install or something. As it is, with the box only plugged to the pump, it's a great step up for a CTD without transmission mods, but I would like to get the MAP hooked up too. Thanks in advance guys!

Should be able to call any diesel performace retailer to get one. Might even try contacting the DTR store to see if they can help ya out. http://store.dieseltruckresource.com/

Yeah, even the local dealer. Around here they no longer stock the OEM 02 (not sure about 01) MAP sensors. All they sell is the 00 and earlier ones, and of course a pretty expensive adaptor to the 02 wiring harness.

It is actually a fairly common part.

I have all the adapters for mine in the box. Witch plug do you have? I got a 01.5 and I did not have too use the adapters and there setting there let me know witch shape you need and pm me with your address and I will get them on the way.

Its a **** shame too that Van is gone hopefully they come back with something bigger n better but I don't know how you could top the V5 I have zero problems with mine good mpg good low end and horse power fits my heavy towing needs perfect You adapters should be on the way or you should almost have them by now.

Hey all, sorry for bringing up an old thread. I recently bought a BD Plug N Power from someone local and i did not realize that the map sensor was different on some years. I have a 99 and it has the round plug where the box has the 01 style square plug. if anyone knows where I can locate one that would be great. I called BD and they told me they dont have anything to adapt and I wuld have to buy a seperate boost fooler but I hate to do that if I could just figure out where to get the connector piece. if someone even has the adaptor and wants to sell that would be great too. let me know.
