van aaken and cruise control

just installed my va v5 and love the low end power, its like a new truck, but my cruise does not work now, what could this be? also i just installed guages if it matters.

If it's just a module, then your cruise should not be affected. I have a VA C3.2 and it just pluggs in. Maybe a fuse?

anyone think its a bad chip?, even though it works fine it just idles a little rough now

Does the cruise control work if you take the smartbox out? That's a great way to determine if box is the cause. I'd contact VA also. Did you pull codes?
