Thanks for the info I also got some today. Oil came out of truck faster than pan could suck in,,, big mess in driveway lol. Oh well live and learn.

You are not the first to find this out the hard way. The open-top yellow 15 quart drain pans are the way to go.

Ha Ha...happened to me too. Splattered thru my garage and all over me. I looked like one of the guys from KISS when it happened to me. I was so ****** when it happened...

No matter what I do anymore,I make a mess. Now I go by Home Depot or anyplace that uses a lot of cardboard. I spread that out with a lot of rags and put on some old clothes. Fubotu drain plug going in next change.
