Valve Adjustment?

My buddy just picked up an 04 with very ypoor injectors (won't start...), he has ordered new ones and while he is in there he wants to adjust the valves. I didn't know you still had to do that on the newer ones... anyway, I said I would have a look and see what they need to be adjusted to, does anybody have those clearances handy? thanks ahead.

He's gonna have to adjust them anyway when he puts the rockers back on after the injector install.

Post-R&R lash adjustment is recommended, but not required if you make sure all the bits & pieces go back where they came from... we do it just to get a little more action out of the cam.

On an 04, I think recommended service is at 100K but I did mine at 65K and found they were getting close to max lash, esp on the intakes. IIRC the manual says you can have .015 on the intakes and mine were all at .013 or .014. Exhausts can be .035 and I had .028 to .030. Anyway, I went ahead and adjusted them all to .010/.020. It gave me a small improvement in mileage (maybe .5 MPG) so as long as you're in there, I'd say go ahead and do it.

It should be on the engine indentification tag on the valve cover as well. It is on my 03 any way.
